Careers advice
Many Old Members are willing to give valuable careers advice to current students. The College also encourages and assists peer to peer networking whenever appropriate.
The annual City of London Reception provides a good opportunity to meet other Old Members in your chosen career field, on an informal basis, to both offer and receive careers advice. The reception is usually held on a Tuesday evening in May. During the rest of the year the Old Members’ Office is very happy to help put Old Members, particularly recent leavers, in touch with those who are willing to give advice. Please contact the Old Members’ Office for more information.
The Oxford University Careers Service has a database of former Oxford University undergraduates and postgraduates, who have volunteered to share their experiences of employment, further study and gap year activities. For further details, and to join, please visit their website.
The Oxford University Society is planning a new series of Professional Networking Events for Old Members. If you would like to receive information about future professional networking events, have any suggestions for employment sectors for future professional networking events, or would like to volunteer to provide a venue/sponsor for these occasions, please complete their online form.
