Aikman, William. 1938-1947
2002 finds Bill living in Didsbury, Manchester, active as ever. Member of Manchester Branch Oxford Society, Manchester Literary and Philosophical Society, Rotary Club of Didsbury.
Ainsley, Rob. 1979-1982
Rob read Maths at Queen's. He is now a writer and journalist who has written several books including the Bluffer's Guides to Computers, the Internet, Mathematics and Japan, and edited the Carlton Ultimate Encyclopaedia of Classical Music. His latest book, Otehon wa eikokuryu, has just come out in Japan (in Japanese!).
Allen, Katharine. 1995-2000
After leaving Queen's, Katy spent a year in Bradford completing her master's degree in Interpreting and Translation. Katy now lives in London, where she currently works as a Knowledge Management consultant in the Indirect Tax department of KPMG.
Anderson, John. 1982-1986
John read biochemistry at Queens and then studied medicine and gained a PhD at the University of London. He is now a Clinical Lecturer in Paeditric Oncology at the Hospital for sick Children and the Institute of Child Health. He is married with 3 children.
Archie, Joseph Patrick. 1982-1984
Joseph studdied for a M.Litt. in Literae Humaniores-Philosophy) at Queens while rowing and playing lawn tennis; he later studied law at Harvard University and is now a partner in the law firm of Dechert Price & Rhoads in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Arnold, Troy. 1992-1996
After leaving Queen's Troy became a sports journalist for the BBC. In 1997 he moved to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and since 2000 he has been Second Secretary at the British High Commission, Nicosia, Cyprus having first learnt modern Greek. Sport remains a keen hobby.
Ash, John. 1965-1969
John spent three years in Australia having followed his D. Phil. supervisor (John Crossley) to Monash University. Back in England, he has had a career in computing, much of it with ICI Pharmaceuticals/AstraZeneca from whom he took early retirement at the end of 2001. He now lives on Wirral with his botanist wife Hilary (nee Gray, the first Organ Scholar at LMH(1974)), and they have two sons, Richard (reading Electronic Engineering at York University) and Martin (Upper Sixth). Current interests include music (as ever), the foundations of quantum mechanics, and chairing the local Churches Together.
Attwater, John. 1991-1994
John read PPE, acquired a PGCE at York University and is now a housemaster and Head of Religious Studies at Wells Cathedral School.
