Nigel Jefferies was at Queen's studying Mathematics, then went on to Goldsmiths College, University of London to do a Ph.D. He is now working at Vodafone Ltd in Newbury as a Chief Engineer with responsibility for collaborative research projects. He lives nearby with wife Judith and two children, Philippa and William

Jenner, Bryan.
1962-1966

Bryan read German and French at Queen's and sang in Schola Cantorum and the Opera Club. He taught modern languages for a few years, but then moved into linguistics and has worked at universities in Britain, Holland, Kenya, the Czech Republic and Japan, before settling in Vienna. He now divides his time between teaching and translating, commuting regularly between Austria and West Bohemia

Jennings, Keith.
1952-1958

I read Chemistry from 1952 - 56 and after gaining a D.Phil in 1958, I spent two years at the National Research Council, Ottawa, before joining the Chemistry Department, University of Sheffield in 1960. In 1972, I moved to the chair of Physical Chemistry at Warwick, working on applications of mass spectrometry until I retired in 1997 after which I spent four years working part-time in the Biological Sciences Department. I now live in North Yorkshire enjoying bridge and classical music.

Jones, Dan.

After leaving college, Dan spent three years consulting with A.T. Kearney, before leaving to take an MBA at Harvard Business School. Since returning to the UK in 2001, he has worked in retail and is currently working for BT. He lives in Highbury with his wife, Nimmah (married 2002) and son, Kayan (born 2004).

Jones, Paul.
1992-1995

After leaving Queen's, Paul trained and worked as a teacher before pursuing a postgraduate course in vocal studies at the Royal Academy of Music. He now works as a freelance opera singer.
