We have a small number of reported cases of Swine Flu at the Florey Building who is being looked after. If you think that you may have the symptoms of this flu please following these steps:
- Remain in your room and keep isolated from others;
- Telephone the Lodge (01865 2) 79120 and give them your name, room number and telephone number;
- Also let the Lodge know the name of your Buddy - if you do not have a Buddy please let the Lodge know and they will find someone for you;
- You should then take your temperature (if you do not have a thermometer you should get your Buddy to get one for you);
- If your temperature is high please phone the national swine flu line on:
08000 151 13 100
(see http://www.pandemicflu.direct.gov.uk)
- If your symptoms suggest that you do have swine flu you will be given a code which you should pass on to your Buddy who will go to the designated Chemists (current the Chemist on Woodstock Road) to collect ‘Tamiflu’ drugs for you;
- Your Buddy will arrange for food to be provided for you from the Buttery;
- If you do have swine flu please make sure that all your rubbish is bagged, tied up and kept in your room until a Scout calls for it. Waste food should also be bagged, tied up and kept in your room until collected by a Scout;
- Only use the designated bathrooms in your building.
