Benefactors' Dinner

Old Member event

Old Members' Office

Free of Charge - by invitation only

The annual Benefactors' Dinner is held to recognise and thank those Old Members and Friends who have made significant contributions to the welfare of Queen’s in recent years.

Our 2022 Benefactors' Dinner event will be held on Saturday 2 July with a special screening of The Changeling, written by Old Member Thomas Middleton (1598).

This Jacobean tragedy – filmed entirely at Queen’s over this academic year and with a cast of thirteen – covers a broad spectrum of emotions and is regarded as one of the most compelling tragedies in English. To help us mark the premiere, the College’s Librarian will be displaying some of Queen’s collection of rare Middleton texts during the intermission and some exceptional Jacobean treasures later in the evening in the Upper Library.

The screening will begin in the Shulman at 3pm with an intermission and drinks; there will be an opportunity to change before pre-dinner drinks in the Upper Library at 6.30pm and dinner in Hall at 7pm. For those not attending the screening you can join us directly for the pre-dinner drinks.

The event is by invitation only. You are welcome to bring a guest and B&B rooms for the Saturday night are available,
Please book your place via the form below.

If you would like to know more about making a significant gift to Queen's, please contact the Old Members' Office.
