The Queen’s Women’s Network
A place for independent minds to connect
Wednesday 2 October at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (65 Fleet St, London EC4Y 1HT). 6.00pm until 8.15pm. Presentations to start at 6.30pm.
Join us for the next Queen's Women's Network event, taking place in London. The theme is Women in Leadership.
Thanks to Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for their generosity in providing the venue and refreshments for this evening and to Old Members Kate Cooper (1999), and Holly Insley (2000) from Freshfields, for making this possible. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer are an international law firm.
Our event will be led by Old Member, Janet Hayes (1981), sharing the findings from her Henley Business School MSc dissertation on: “Can You Have It All: Women's Transition to Leadership”. This will be followed by a panel of leaders to discuss the findings and answering your questions on women in leadership. The panel members are: Caroline Stroud, Partner - People & Reward from Freshfields, Nishi Somaiya, European Head and Global Chief Operating Officer of Growth Equity strategy at Goldman Sachs and April Burt, Project Leader of the Aldabra Clean-Up Project.
In 2016 Janet set up her own coaching and Human Resource (HR) Consulting business and began her MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change. Prior to this, Janet spent 30 years in a variety of HR and leadership roles, mainly in professional services, but also in manufacturing, the public sector and banking. Half of these years were part-time, with occasional career breaks to spend time with her children. Focusing on the importance of future generations, Janet has been a school governor and still regularly volunteers with schools in Hertfordshire.
Please book your places below. The event is for Old Members with a limited number of guest tickets available.
