The Queen’s College is delighted to be able to co-fund and offer up to four graduate scholarships in association with the University of Oxford’s Black Academic Futures Scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded to successful applicants from UK Black and Mixed-Black students who hold an offer for a research postgraduate degree, starting in the 2022-23 academic year. The awardees will become graduate students at Queen’s College and we warmly welcome applications from all subject areas. We anticipate one scholarship being awarded to a successful applicant from each of the following divisions:
- Humanities Division
- Mathematical, Physical & Life Sciences Division
- Medical Sciences Division
- Social Sciences Division
The scholarships cover tuition fees in full and provide a grant for living costs at the UKRI rate (at least £15,609 per year) for the duration of your course. Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for your course.
To apply for the Black Academic Futures Scholarship at Queen’s, all you need to do is submit your completed DPhil application, including ethnicity information, by either the December or January deadline (whichever is relevant for your course) and you will automatically be considered.
Please contact the College Office at firstname.lastname@example.org, should you have any further queries.
