We are looking forward to welcoming the Taberdars’ Society for their annual luncheon on Saturday 18 February.
The event will include the Provost’s annual update to the Taberdars’ Society, followed by drinks and lunch in the Hall.
This year we are delighted to welcome distinguished pianist, composer and Taberdars’ Society member, Julian Jacobson (Music, 1968), who will be performing a piano recital in the afternoon. To celebrate his 75th birthday, Julian recently played the complete 32 sonatas of Beethoven from memory in a single day and then repeated this amazing concert in Uruguay. For the Taberdars’ Society, Julian will be playing works by Beethoven, Rachmaninov and Ravel.
Join us online
If you are unable to come to Oxford but would like to be part of the day, we are live-streaming the Provost’s welcome and College updates in the morning, and Julian’s piano recital in the afternoon. There will also be a recording so that you can watch at your own convenience. If you would like to join us online or receive a recording, please choose the online booking option when you receive your invitation.
