Katherine comes originally from the Peak District, and came to Oxford first as an undergraduate and then graduate student at Merton College, where she studied history. After a few years working in information rights law, she trained for ordination at the monastic College of the Resurrection in Yorkshire, taking a degree in Theological Studies at the University of Sheffield. She served her curacy at Grimsby Minster before returning to Oxford as a Chaplain. She is studying part-time for a doctorate, researching the relationship of the local and universal church in the Anglican Communion and Eastern Orthodoxy.
She has acted as a vocations adviser for Lincoln and Oxford dioceses, and has published a book on her own vocation story: Katy Magdalene Price, I think it’s God calling (BRF, 2015).
