Mr Alistair Macaulay

Lecturer in Economics

I am a DPhil student in Economics at Nuffield College. Prior to the DPhil, I completed a BA in Economics and Management (First Class) at Merton College, then the MPhil in Economics (Distinction) at Nuffield College.

I teach macroeconomics to first year PPE undergraduates.

My research is in behavioural macroeconomics, specifically models in which information is difficult to acquire and process. I am studying the macroeconomic and policy implications of this realistic departure from standard full-information models of behaviour.
