Eligibility

Candidates who are a national of or resident of Cambodia, mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, for a period of at least seven years.

Value

The scholarship will include:

  • University tuition fees payable directly to the University
  • College fees, payable directly to the College
  • an annual stipend to cover board and lodging and all other incidental expenses (the stipend will be payable in three instalments each year, with the first instalment a larger sum to cover initial costs)
  • the cost of the UK Immigration Health Surcharge
  • a standard economy class airfare to be reimbursed at cost to the Scholar from the place of residence to the United Kingdom at the beginning of studies, and for the return journey to the place of residence on completion of the Scholarship period

Duration

Periods of up to four years.

How to apply

Please note that, from the 2027 postgraduate admissions cycle onwards, direct application to Queen’s (i.e., naming Queen’s as your first preference College) is required in order to be eligible to apply for the Jardine award via The Queen’s College.
