The bar staff are employed to assist the Bar Supervisor in the safe running of the Beer Cellar (the College bar), and ensure customers receive the highest level of service.

Most especially they will have friendly and positive interactions with students, staff and guests of the College.

The role is intended as part-time and requires someone who is flexible; they would need to be available for shifts on Monday through Saturday evenings (by arrangement), during term time when the bar is open, and at other times as required and agreed.

The hours will vary throughout the year, however during term they would need to be available for a number of shifts per week (possibly more at busy times). The summer is a period that the bar staff would assist other departments such as the Catering Department with conference events that use our facilities while the students are away from Oxford.

Ongoing training and support from the College Steward, and the Bar Supervisor, who is the line-manager, will be available.
