On Saturday 15 October, Old Members from the matriculation years 1972, 1962 and 1952 are invited to College for lunch to celebrate 50, 60 and 70 years since their matriculation at Queen’s.

The event begins at 12.15pm with a commemorative photograph of attendees. Drinks will be served at 12.30pm before a three-course lunch in Hall at 1pm (dress code: lounge suits).

After lunch, we will show a special pre-recorded introduction to the current Weston Library exhibition, Tutankhamun. Excavating the Archive, produced by Queen’s Professor of Egyptology, Richard Bruce Parkinson (1982, Oriental Studies). Richard is co-curator of this fascinating exhibition with Dr Daniela Rosenow from Oxford University’s Griffith Institute.

You can watch the recording in the Shulman Auditorium, before joining Dr Rosenow for an in-person visit to the exhibition. There will be two groups of up to 30 people each starting at 3.15pm and 4pm. You can decide which group you would like to join on the day.
