We are delighted to invite Queen’s Society members on an exclusive tour of Westminster Abbey on Tuesday 25 August 2026 to explore one of Britain’s legendary landmarks.

Join Dr Matthew Payne (Literae Humaniores, 1989), Keeper of the Muniments, on a tour of Abbey spaces rarely open to the public, including the tomb of Queen Philippa, namesake and patroness of the College, and the Library and Muniment Room. Members are also warmly invited to attend the Abbey’s Evensong after the tour.
Guests are welcome and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that some rooms are accessible only by stairs and that the tour may be unsuitable for those with significant access requirements.
