My favourite memory of Queen’s

The people, the dinners, the hung over tutes. Making lifelong friends.

What Queen’s means to me

Queen’s truly is my nursing mother.

My journey since leaving Queen’s

After training to teach history I taught history and geography in outer London for three years before moving to inner London where I was head of maths and studied for my MA in curriculum studies. When my children were little I did freelance education work, including initial teacher education. I briefly returned to teaching, this time in Peterborough as a single parent, before moving into initial teacher education full time at Canterbury Christ Church University. In this time I also completed a BSc in mathematics with the Open University and a doctorate. My academic career was halted when I discerned a call to ordained ministry. I now serve God full time back in the Peterborough diocese, where I grew up.
