The Queen's Fund
tutorial
Everyone who contributes to the Queen's Fund plays an essential role in supporting our students, their education, welfare and wider opportunities.

The Queen's Fund is the primary way in which Old Members and Friends support our College community.

Last year the Fund (which excludes legacies and gifts over £25,000) received gifts totalling £439,000 from more than 900 Old Members and friends. This is equivalent to what the College spends on all scholarships; hardship, book, sport and music grants; research allowances; and spending on both the Junior and Middle Common Rooms.

Every aspect of our students’ lives is enriched by your support and you are part of a very special community. Thank you.

Particular thanks go to those who make a regular gift, as it enables us to plan over the medium term; last year a third of the Fund’s income (£160,000) was given in this way, through annual, quarterly or monthly payments.

To do more for our students, however, we need your help. A generous benefactor has offered a matched funding pot (up to a maximum of £100,000) to double the value of all new regular gifts in their first year in 2017/18. We do hope those of you who are able to commit will do so: gifts of all sizes make a real difference.

All regular donors will become members of The Queen’s Society. Members will be invited to all Queen's Society events and will be recognised in the Donor Report (unless anonymity is requested).
