Can I park at Queen’s?

There is no parking available for visiting Old Members.  We recommend you travel to Queen’s via public transport.  There are good coach and train links from London and the Midlands.

There are several Park and Ride sites on the outskirts of the city centre, where you can park and then take the bus into the city, and these car parks are also geared up for longer stays of up to 72 hours.  If you are approaching Oxford from the M40/London, then Thornhill Park and Ride is on the route in, and the bus from there does stop right outside Queen’s.  Seacourt Park and Ride is a little further around the ring road, but the car park itself is closer to the city centre – that bus also stops outside Queen’s.   The Park and Ride sites at Pear Tree, Redbridge and Water Eaton (near Oxford Parkway railway station) also have direct links to the city centre, but may involve a short walk to Queen’s.

There’s more information on all the sites at the Oxford City Council website and on the Oxford Bus Company website.
