Richard Bauckham is former Professor of New Testament Studies at the University of St Andrews, and has written on what the Bible might have to teach us about our relationship with the natural world. Featuring music by the Renaissance Portuguese organist and composer Coelho and the contemporary British composer Jonathan Dove.
Giving up: a service for Welfare Week, Sunday 14 February
The Virtual Chapel marks the start of the College's termly Welfare Week, with music for Valentine's Day and a sermon from the Chaplain on self-care and the upside of giving up.
Wisdom at Play with Celia Deane-Drummond, Sunday 7 February
Dr Celia Deane-Drummond is Director of the Laudato Si' Institute, and preaches on "Wisdom at Play: Discovering our True Humanity". Featuring Eric Whitacre's setting of the e e cummings poem, i thank You God for most this amazing day.
In place of our usual Choral Eucharist and candlelit procession, the Virtual Chapel offers a time to reflect with music, words and images for Candlemas for you to use in your own time.
Speaking Truth to Power with Loretta Minghella, Sunday 31 January
Creation Justice 2021 continues with Loretta Minghella, First Church Estates Commissioner and former CEO of Christian Aid. With an anthem by Handel and the introit We wait for thy loving kindness, composed by William McKie for the Queen's wedding.
Introducing Creation Justice with Dr Ruth Valerio, Sunday 24 January
We welcome Dr Ruth Valerio of Tearfund to launch our Creation Justice season. Featuring Philip Cooke's "The World on Fire," a commission for the Choir in 2015.

The Virtual Chapel returns for Hilary Term with another chance to hear music from last term's livestreamed services, plus a sermon from the Chaplain on the theme "Unbelievable!"
