Old Members' Dinner - Cancelled
It is with sadness that we announce that we have cancelled this year’s Old Members' Dinner. The College delayed this decision as long as it could, in the hope that the situation inside and outside of Oxford might change for the better. However, given that long-distance travel is involved for many Old Members and guests to attend the dinner, we thought it best not to take any unnecessary risks or prolong the uncertainty.
In the meantime, we will be organising a series of online events this autumn to keep you in touch with the Queen’s community, including: a College AGM (October), where we will be discussing some of the most pressing questions and issues facing Oxford and Queen’s; the inaugural Provost’s Lecture (November), where Dr Craig will be discussing and in conversation with a guest speaker about “Leadership in Crisis”; and just before the holiday season, a virtual cooking session with the College’s new Chef and a virtual Wine Tasting with our SCR Steward and Butler. More details to be announced shortly.
The University will be holding the Meeting Minds Global event in September online.
