I Joined Queen’s in 2021. My main roles as Sous Chef at Queen’s include preparing the food for students and Fellows and looking after the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence along with my fellow Sous Chef.

Originally from Chippenham, I have moved around England working in all manner of different types of catering industries, including Head Chef of The Catherine Wheel in Goring and then moving into contract catering as Head Chef of the Headington campus of Oxford Brookes University.

Outside of the kitchen I enjoy walking, cycling, and helping to look after an allotment I have with my partner. I am also a big football fan supporting the mighty Ipswich Town.

I came to Queen’s College in 2020 as Head Chef, and am responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen and looking after my team. I also create menus and make sure we deliver outstanding food.

Born and raised in the Lake District, I moved to beautiful Oxfordshire 18 years ago. I live with my wife and two boys and we enjoy eating out, travelling the world and going camping in our family’s VW Camper.

I have worked in kitchens for 25 years, making Head Chef of The Lamb Inn, Burford at 23 years old. My other roles have included a number of prestigious hotels. I trained at Lakeside Hotel in Windermere and was Head Chef of The Randolph Hotel in Oxford. Most recently, I was Head Chef at a well-established events catering company in Oxford.
