Viewing archives for Welfare Team

I am a member of the College’s Welfare Team. I have a wide range of experience talking with students about any welfare concerns they have – no problem is too big or small. You can book a welfare meeting with me using the button below. If there is no available slot that works with your schedule, you can email me at welfare.officer@queens.ox.ac.uk and we can try to find an alternative time.

I am also a member of the College Office, and I liaise with the Academic Administrator to assist students with accessing support for their studies. You can email me at college.office@queens.ox.ac.uk with queries you have about matters ranging from problems completing your exams, to registering with the disability advisory service, to applying for financial assistance.

Do say hello if you see me around College!

The Revd Alice Watson joined the College in 2022 as College Chaplain. You can find more information on the role of the Chaplain on the Chapel page.

Alice is originally from Somerset and studied as an undergraduate at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. Her career pre-ordination was in project management and she trained for ordination at Ripon College, Cuddesdon; her BA is from Oxford and her MA is from Durham. Once ordained, she served her curacy in Kettering in the diocese of Peterborough and she is excited to return to Oxford as Chaplain. Her academic work focuses on liturgy, pregnancy, and childbirth and she hopes to begin doctoral studies in the next year.

Alice looks forward to meeting the Queen’s community, past and present, and serving here for the next five years.
