The Provost in Conversation with Sir Jeremy Hunt

This is the first in a new series of events with Provost Paul Johnson. For the first event, Paul will be joined by Sir Jeremy Hunt, former Chancellor of the Exchequer, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and Secretary of State for Health. They will discuss the state of the economy, the last government’s record and this government’s performance so far, as well as the challenges facing the health service.

Sir Jeremy Hunt is currently Member of Parliament for Godalming and Ash. He has a background as an entrepreneur and over a decade of experience working in government, most recently as Chancellor of the Exchequer. Jeremy was UK Foreign Secretary during the first Trump presidency, oversaw the London 2012 Olympics and was the longest serving Health Secretary in the history of the NHS. He has written books on health and most recently foreign affairs with his new book Can we be great again? Why a dangerous world needs Britain.
