The Championship will be held in the Hall on Saturday 10 May from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm and is open to players at all levels.
The Championship will be played using a Swiss-system format. Each game will not exceed five minutes. Further tournament details will be provided ahead of the competition.
Prize
The winner will receive a miniature Isle of Lewis – Chess Box. The Isle of Lewis Mini Chess Set is a beautifully crafted and highly detailed rendition of the historic Isle of Lewis Chess Set. This exquisite miniature version features intricate hand-painted resin pieces, each depicting the iconic Norse and Celtic-inspired characters from the original set.
The tournament is open to members of the SCR, MCR, and JCR.
