The New Library
The extension of Queen’s historic library is underway to bring a modern, flexible learning space into the heart of the College by going underground, ingeniously beneath the Provost’s garden.

This is one of the College’s most important developments for generations and will bring the whole academic community together working in a research centre based on the widest range of source material, from medieval manuscripts to the latest digital resources. Fifty five extra reading spaces will resolve students’ overcrowding and our working, historic and archive collections will at last be housed in optimum conditions and in one place, easily accessible by students, academics and external researchers.

This is an outstanding opportunity to play a leading role in the transformation of the College’s academic culture and facilities: your philanthropy will help shape educational excellence at Queen’s for generations to come.
