The College warmly congratulates Fellow in Mathematics Professor José Carrillo who is one of 40 mathematicians from around the world who has been named a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) for 2026, the programme’s 14th year.
AMS members designated as Fellows of the AMS have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilisation of mathematics.
AMS President Ravi Vakil said:

AMS Fellows are selected from a substantial pool of accomplished candidates. Their collected achievements highlight the many ways individuals devote themselves to our beautiful and essential subject.
