These are just some of the questions explored in Provox, the College’s new podcast hosted by the Provost, Paul Johnson.
In a world where we’re used to quick answers, Provox takes the time to ask better questions. Through conversations with leading thinkers, researchers, and innovators, this new series explores today’s ideas and challenges, with episodes bringing together perspectives from academia, public life, business, and culture.
The series launches with former Cabinet Minister, economist, and broadcaster Ed Balls, who joins the Provost to discuss economics, politics, and public life, reflecting on what an Oxford education can teach us about leadership and decision-making.
Forthcoming episodes feature a fascinating mix of guests, including Baroness Sharon White, former Chancellor Sir Jeremy Hunt, environmental economist Sir Dieter Helm, CBI Director-General Rain Newton-Smith, writer Sathnam Sanghera, as well as Queen’s academics Professors Jon Keating, Jane Langdale, Peter Robbins, and Emma Slack.
