We are sorry but The Queen’s College Library and the Archive remain closed to all external visitors and readers until further notice. Special arrangements are in place to enable some Library access for current members of College only (and pre-booking is essential).
However, the Library staff will help wherever they can via the Library email, which is being monitored daily.
All enquires related to the College Archives should be emailed to the Archivist.
We look forward to welcoming our Old Members back in due course.
Queen's is closed to the public so you may be asked to identify yourself on arrival at the Lodge. If you have a University Alumni Card, you may be asked to present this. If you do not, our Porters may ask you a few questions to help find you on our database. More details on how to apply for a University Alumni Card can be found on our Old Members' FAQs page.
Alternatively, if you know you are coming in advance, please send the Old Members' Office an email so we can let the Lodge Porters know of your plans.
Visiting the Library
If you spent time in the Library during your time at Queen’s, you will probably have fond memories of your time studying here, perhaps especially of the Upper Library.
We understand that Old Members like to relive their time in the Library and you are welcome to come and visit during staffed hours. For more information on visiting the Library and bringing guests, please view our library access page.
We encourage Old Members to refrain from visiting the Library during Trinity Term, as this is a critical time for our students.
