You are here

Old Members are very welcome to return to Queen's, and on a trip to Oxford you may like to visit your old college.

Queen's is closed to the public so you may be asked to identify yourself on arrival at the Lodge. If you have a University Alumni Card, you may be asked to present this. If you do not, our Porters may ask you a few questions to help find you on our database. More details on how to apply for a University Alumni Card can be found on our Old Members' FAQs page

Alternatively, if you know you are coming in advance, please send the Old Members' Office an email so we can let the Lodge Porters know of your plans.

Visiting the Library

If you spent time in the Library during your time at Queen’s, you will probably have fond memories of your time studying here, perhaps especially of the Upper Library.

We understand that Old Members like to relive their time in the Library and you are welcome to come and visit Monday - Friday between 10am - 4pm. Please note prior appointment directly with the Library (01865 279130) is required.

Visitors are encouraged to wear face coverings whilst indoors and to maintain social distancing. The Library team will continue to wear face coverings whilst indoors and will maintain social distancing. Visits should be brief and quiet and in groups of no more than 4 at a time. Thank you for your understanding.

All enquires related to the College Archives should be emailed to the Archivist.
