My favourite memory of Queen’s
So many! Probably reading in the sunshine in Front Quad, going to theatre and music performances in the Provost’s Garden, and spending time with friends in each other’s rooms.
What Queen’s means to me
Queen’s was my home for four very happy years of my life. I learned a huge amount from some wonderful tutors, not just academically, but as kind, generous people. I made friends for life and gained a lot of confidence to try new things and work hard at what was important to me.
My journey since leaving Queen’s
I haven’t managed to leave Oxford (yet)! I did a year-long traineeship at the Bodleian Law Library, followed by a part-time MSc in Information Science with UCL to qualify as a librarian. Since then, I have worked in many different libraries in Oxford, including five years in the Education Library, working with trainee teachers. Since 2022, I have been a medical librarian within the Bodleian Health Care Libraries, based in Headington. I work with researchers, students and NHS staff, teaching literature searching skills and collaborating on systematic reviews.
