New Library Queen's College Oxford
Thanks to several generous donations and benefactions, The Queen’s College Library possesses some of the finest special collections in an Oxford College, including medieval manuscripts, and an extensive collection of early printed books.
COVID-19 arrangements

We are sorry but The Queen’s College Library and the Archive remain closed to all visitors and external readers until further notice. Special arrangements are in place to enable some Library access for current members of College only (and pre-booking is essential).

However, the Library staff will help wherever they can via the Library email, which is being monitored daily.

All enquires related to the College Archives should be emailed to the Archivist.

Topics covered include not only the expected classics and theology, but other subjects as diverse as early mathematics, medicine, and travel and topography.

We strive to make these materials, amounting to approximately 70,000 items, available to the wider academic community and all bona fide scholars are welcome to make an appointment to view items of interest.

For further information on our collections and how to access them, please refer to the special collections page.
