New Library Queen's College Oxford
Thanks to several generous donations and benefactions, The Queen’s College Library possesses some of the finest special collections in an Oxford College, including medieval manuscripts, and an extensive collection of early printed books.
College closure

Now that the College has closed, The Queen’s College Library and the Archive will remain closed to all visitors and readers until further notice.

However, the Library staff, working remotely, will help wherever they can via the Library email, which is being monitored daily.

If the matter is urgent please write directly to the Acting Librarian.

All enquires related to the College Archives should be emailed to the Archivist.

Topics covered include not only the expected classics and theology, but other subjects as diverse as early mathematics, medicine, and travel and topography.

We strive to make these materials, amounting to approximately 70,000 items, available to the wider academic community and all bona fide scholars are welcome to make an appointment to view items of interest.

For further information on our collections and how to access them, please refer to the special collections page.
