The IT Support Assistant provides IT support to Fellows, staff, students, academic visitors and conference guests of the College. This includes assistance with wired and wireless network connectivity, hardware and software failure/installs/setup, audio visual facilities, troubleshooting and assisting the IT Officers with administrative and technical support.

As part of the IT Office the Systems Officer is responsible for the planning, deployment and management of the technical aspects of the College’s IT infrastructure and in turn the services that run on it. This infrastructure includes the wired network switches and wireless access points in addition to the physical and virtual servers. A few examples of the services which run on the infrastructure might be the Eduroam wireless network, meal bookings websites, backup/disaster recovery and managed print services.
