Anthea Bell Prize: Winners 2021
Congratulations to all the winners of the Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators 2021!

The competition ran for the first time in summer 2021. It ran across 4 levels in 4 languages, covering all year groups at secondary school from age 11 to 18. Schools were asked to submit only the top five entries for each level. A team of 30 judges read over 1,000 entries to the competition.

Our judges selected 16 national winners, 16 national runners-up, 40 area winners and 60 commendations. Congratulations! All receive certificates, and the national winners and runners-up receive book prizes kindly donated by Penguin Classics, Vintage Classics and Oxford University Press.

The Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators is an initiative of the Queen's College Translation Exchange.
