In these public resources, you will find a PowerPoint presentation, student worksheet, and teacher’s notes. These resources are designed for students in their second or third year of studying the language, or later Key Stage 3 (S1–S3).

Over 130 resource packs on translating poetry, fiction and non-fiction from French, German, Italian, Mandarin, Russian, and Spanish into English, and from French into Welsh, are freely available to teachers who have registered for the Anthea Bell Prize.
These resources span novels and short stories, sonnets and shape poems, graphic novels and children’s books, memoir and journalistic writing in six languages. Our resources have also been tagged by grammar content and examination themes in line with AQA, Edexcel, Scottish National Qualifications, and WJEC syllabi. This means that teachers looking to supplement classwork on certain grammar points, modules, topics, or set texts can search our resources library and find related materials.
