At the Translation Exchange, we work closely with students across the University of Oxford and we are always looking to expand our network of student linguists. Currently, undergraduates and postgraduates can get involved in our work in the following ways:

  • Becoming one of our Creative Translation Ambassadors (recruited in October every year);
  • Coming along to Translation Exchanges, our informal translation group that meets three times a term;
  • Volunteering at QTE events in Oxford for school students and members of the public;
  • Writing for our blog and creating social media content (including videos);
  • Taking part in languages advocacy work in collaboration with QTE; for example, we can support student linguists with delivering talks at their former schools.

More information on our Creative Translation Ambassadors and Translation Exchanges can be found below.

We would be happy to discuss these and/or other ideas for how we might work together, so please do write to us at translation.exchange@queens.ox.ac.uk if you are interested in getting involved.
