Queen’s typically takes six or more graduate students in chemistry each year, with the diverse cohort spanning all branches of the subject from physical chemistry/theory, through inorganic and organic synthesis, all the way to chemical biology.

PGCE students focussing on chemistry also form part of each year’s intake.

In addition, the College has an association with the Theory and Modelling in Chemical Sciences (TMCS) doctoral training centre, and typically admits a number of students each year as part of this programme. Informal enquiries to Prof Aldridge or Prof Doye are welcomed.
