The College is saddened to note the death of Emeritus Fellow Mr James Dalton FRCO

Queen’s is saddened to learn that Emeritus Fellow James Dalton (1930-2017) has died.  Mr Dalton was Fellow Organist from 1957 until 1995.

He was a seminal figure in the organ-reform movement in Britain, as a performer and scholar, and was responsible for the commissioning of the remarkable and influential Frobenius instrument at Queen’s.
