Recent graduate awarded Ann Waterfall Prize by the Anglo-Portuguese Society

16 November 2017

The College congratulates recent graduate Daniel Pawson (Spanish and Portuguese, 2013) who has been awarded a prize for 'best student of Portuguese’ by the Anglo-Portuguese Society (APS). Daniel graduated from Queen’s in 2017 with a first-class degree.

Students from universities across the UK are nominated for this prize by their teachers or lecturers, and the nominations are then reviewed jointly by the Portuguese Embassy and trustees of the APS. In Hilary Term 2018 there will be a ceremony in Oxford to mark Daniel's achievement.
